LaTeX
LaTeX is a typesetting program used for producing very high quality documents (especially technical documents) by computer. Information on how to install it can be found in this LaTeX installation guide written by a former student rep (the guide is also available in Postscript and PDF formats. If you wish to use LaTeX to produce your CATAM reports, there is an official LaTeX for CATAM installation guide. The TeX Catalogue Online contains further information about LaTeX, as does the Engineering Department LaTeX site. This LaTeX primer explains how to use LaTeX.
